Believe it or not, it’s official. Your computer is dirtier than your toilet! You clean your toilet from time to time don’t you? But when was the last time you Lysoled your workstation?

I consider myself a pretty clean person. I was always the one cajoling my roommates into cleaning our apartment during college and I keep a pretty clean house these days (with a little help) but I hadn’t considered that my laptop was a problem. The Mercury News has more here.

Even more bizarre, a recent study proved that the typical bachelor pad is actually a cleaner place, in terms of bacteria, than his non-bachelor neighbor’s place. It seems that those sponges we use to wipe down our counters are bacterial breeding grounds and using them on counters just spreads the love. I guess bachelors don’t use sponges…
