Andrew Zolli over at Popular Science has a great little article this month tallying the true cost of owning a Treo 600. His rundown includes such essential additions like SnapperMail, Etymotic ER-6 Isolator headphones, a 512MB SD Card, and PocketTunes Deluxe.
The total? A little over a thousand dollars. His list is spot on although I had to forego the $140 Etymotic ER-6 Isolator headphones. One item I would add that is absolutely essential to the continued working of your Treo 600 or any phone or PDA is a set of eGrips. eGrips is one of those products that make you go DOH! Why didn’t I think of them?
eGrips attach to your Treo 600 and provide a nice no-slip grip. As I said, essential. Once applied, your Treo can do amazing things such as adhere to near vertical surfaces, stick resolutely to your open palm, and most convienient, hang on to your car’s dashboard as you drive around town taking those corners like a Nascar fiend.
eGrips are also available for a very wide selection of phones, pdas, MP3 players, and other personal electronics devices.
Buy a set today. You will thank me…
