This may just be news to me or it may be untrue as it seems to be founded on inside sources that can’t easily be verified but someone is reporting that the military is now prepared to activate Inactive Ready Reserve members to augment the military.

IRRs are members of the military that have separated after fulfilling their active duty commitment but prior to fulfilling their full eight year commitment to the military. The standard military enlistment is comprised of an active duty and IRR component with the IRR component equal to the time remaining after the soldiers active duty component is completed. This would be the last step before enacting a civilian draft. Read more here and I apologize if this turns out to be conspiracy-theory tinder.
