So, these guys have developed a toolbar that lets you AMPLIFY stuff. What, you ask, is AMPLIFYing? Well, it seems it lets you capture content such as pictures, audio, video, and text from the web and create rich media modules called AMPS. You can then share the AMPs through their online community or just store them locally for your own use.

I am with it so far. I use a program called CatClips to store web content for future reference. Where they started to lose me was with the free. It is not an open-source project so what’s in it for them? Ads the say. Hmm. Maybe. I just can’t bring myself to install yet another toolbar. What with Google, Alexa, and Yahoo up there if I add another I just won’t have any room left in my browser window.
