The MSNBot visited my main URL 32 times in an eighteen hour period yesterday. I am prolific when the mood strikes me but not that prolific. Even worse, it did not pick up the new content I have added below my main page so it was all for nothing (basically.)

It is the most demanding of all searchbots consuming many, many dozens of megabytes of bandwidth each month on my site. Looks like Microsoft needs to do some tweaking on the algol before they destroy the web or maybe that’s the plan…
