This is a little hard to believe but the source is reliable. Apparently, someone had six GMail invites in their account and then one disappeared today. Apparently Google took back an invite that had been granted to a user. Bizarre. Has this happened to anyone else?
These invites were very fresh; all had been granted in two grants over the past 5 days.

Google is in the process of updating GMail, and because there are discrepancies between the different servers, different users are noting different changes. Some of these include:
-Combined menu
-Report bug link (it was there in the very beginning of GMail too)
-New invites
For quite a few users like myself, I think these changes come and go. I hope Google sorts this out soon!
