Funny Yes… Just yesterday I found a Tivoli Sirius tabletop radio for sale on eBay for $399.99. The auction is gone now but for those not in the know, this radio sells for $299 new from Tivoli. You just have to be an informed consumer.

Some skeezy fellow has put Microsoft’s free advanced image editing software, Paint.NET, for sale on eBay, hoping to make a quick and dirty buck off some hapless fool. Here’s one edition of it on sale, although you can currently search for it and find nine “copies” of the free download available by “pattytweedy“; evil, evil pattytweedy. Looking through her user info, all she does is sell the same three free pieces of software, always for a penny, making money off $5-8 “shipping”. This info comes via Rick Brewster, who notes that this is within the rights of the license Paint.NET is released under, although I still think eBay should take it down, and ban her account.
