I have been a seller on ebay for over 2 years. I recently went into business with my brother (Tony Sutton). We decided to start over fresh with a new seller ID. During my time with ebay, I have had 1843 transactions with 883 unique feedbacks, with 1843 total positives, which says that I had almost 1000 return customer transactions with a 99.7% feedback rating. You can check it out yourselves (darianpierce). The reason I tell you this is to let you know that I know what I am doing, and to help you be able to bid with confidence. I sell quality merchandise at a fair price, and I want happy customers. For the most part, I have enjoyed doing business on ebay, but a small few have made it necessary for me to lay down some guidelines for my auctions. So sit back and enjoy the lovely disclaimer. I sell used name brand neckties. They are used. They are not new unless stated in the add. If I come across a tie that has a noticeable defect (ie snags or tears) I immediately throw it away. I purposely have set up my listing process so that I have to handle my ties many times before they reach your hands. I do this so I am constantly inspecting them. You may need to have some of these ties dry-cleaned. I actually suggest you do that with any type of used clothing. If you have to do that you are still getting an expensive necktie at a very affordable price. I do occasionally come upon a batch of brand new ties. Some of them still have the tags attached so it is obvious. Others will have stated in the add that they are “NWOT”, if the add say this you can rest assured that I am positive that no one has ever worn that tie. I inspect them carefully for any signs of use, and check the neck for knot creases. During the off-season (summer) I list only a select type of tie because there is very little demand for them in hot weather.
