This is the sale of a 5 piece set. It includes a large dish and four (4) matching butter pats. The back of the dish is marked, "W.T. COPELAND & SONS" STOKE UPON TRENT. Dish stands 2 inches tall and 9.5 inches across. It has a gorgeous scene of a castle by water. Outside of rim has detailed acorn and leaf design in a warm brown color. Unfortunately, dish does have a chip to the lower outside rim; however, the beauty of the dish minimizes the chip. The four matching butter pats measure 3 inches in diameter. Only one of the butter pats has a chip to inside rim (as per picture). Buyer pays shipping based on your zip code (use shipping calculator). I ship via USPS -priority mail after receiving your payment which is due by 7 days at end of auction. Insurance is recommended on glass/fragile items. Item - Copeland Spode Creamer and Base Description - This auction is 2 pieces of Copeland Spode's "Chaplet" pattern. One piece is a 2.5" tall creamer, and the other looks like a base to something, but I'm not sure what. Anyway, the creamer is in very good condition, with a 1/2" hairline on the lip (it does not go all the way through). The base measures 7" long by 5.75" wide. It is in excellent condition - no flaws to mention. Hopefully you might have the sugar bowl that goes with the creamer, or the piece that goes with this base. Or, I guess you could use the base to set the creamer on! (Stand not included.)
