This is a 1989 Ferguson model 46A Roller. It has a 4 cylinder diesel engine. I am not positive about the make of the engine since I don't see any manufacturer stamps, but usually this model came with a 50 HP Isuzu engine. The roller has power steering and runs smooth. This roller needs no trailer for transport. The tow bar is controller hydraulically. Just raise or lower the tow bar onto your pintle hook, then lower the tires hydraulically, lock up the roller, and you are ready to transport. The width of the rear drum is 42" wide and the diameter is 4 feet. The front drum measures 40" wide and the diameter is 3 feet. The hour meter shows 2749 hours. There is a spray bar water system and it does work. The tire size is 10.00-20. One tire is in like new condition, the other is in fair condition. The seat is torn in several places. A replacement seat is about $45. The machine has been painted. This auction is for a Raygo Romper dual smooth drum roller with vibrate. My paving company has gone under so all my equipment is for sale, and priced to sell. This is a Great roller, It is in the 3 to 5 ton range with vibrate feature. This baby will rattle your teeth!! I had the motor compleatly rebuilt last april. And I mean compleatly rebuilt not just rings and bearings. It has had all the machine work done to it. One new rod, 4 new pistons/pins/ring sets. All new valves, springs, guides, retainers, seats. New rectifier and regulators installed. New cap, rotor, New wires, plugs, electronic ignition. plus the bearings seals etc. I have over $1250 into the motor rebuild alone and it runs like a champ. The machine also has one new roller bearing and housing on it. The original hydraulic water pump has been replaced with an agricultural quality "run Dry' style diaphragm pump this spring also. I also sandblasted and painted this whole machine this spring except for the rear drum cover where the seat is mounted. It was hiding while we painted it and it got forgotten. Everything on this roller works and works good. except the emergency brake which is removed because the handle needs to be fixed. There is also a very small hydraulic fluid drop from the fitting that goes into the cooler.Gas cap is missing also. It has been covered I just took it off to take this picture.It flew off in transport about 3 weeks ago I also replaced all the hydraulic fuid a months ago. I acidentially overfilled it and it blew out the overflow when I started it. That is why it looks kinda dirty in the pics. Email me with any questions.
