This is a lot of 12 different pieces of the wonderful silver and red compatible fusible dichroic glass. The silver dichroic is one of the Premium colors of fusible dichroic glass. Silver fires very true to color and especially the silver radium and the silver on clear are very striking and dynamic. If you haven't tried the premium glasses, you are missing some of the most desirable colors that your customers will want to buy. There are five of the silver dichroic glasses in this assortment. They are at least 1" by 1" but quite a few are even larger as you can see from the picture. This is great dichroic glass from CBS dichroic. Silver, pink and green/magenta dichroic are specified by the dichroic manufacturers as "Premium" coatings. In the terminology of Dichroic manufacturers, "Premium" coatings have twice as many layers of rare earth dichroic material than non-premiums (33 instead of 17). Premium coated glass is understandably quite a bit more expensive than non-premium but it offers a completly different and striking color palette (reflective pink, magenta and silver). As a buyer you should be careful that dichroic referred to as "premium" actually fits the criteria listed above. Most other sellers don't sell actual "premium" glass because of the cost but it is important to us to offer our buyers the widest selection and best products available. All pieces of glass are individually packed into ziplock bags for their protection and for your convenience. We are now shipping our glass in handy clear plastic boxes for easy storage and display. All glass is handcut by me. This photo shows the exact glass that you will receive in your package. Clear Glass includes: silver radium, silver on clear machine rolled (almost looks like a mirror) McCray Studios custom glass copper on red opal, red over clear with red frit/stringer, red accordion and red reed Black glass includes: Silver accordion, silver fipple, silver aurora borealis, red, red radium and Candy Apple Red Accordion.
